First Time Blogger

Testing Testing. Test 1 2 3.
So I'm going to Spain and I'm gonna blog about it. Never blogged before. Probably because I've never had anything to blog about. Going to Spain seems like a pretty good reason to start. If you're reading this then I'm flattered you're taking the time to do so, but I also feel a little bit of pressure to be entertaining and grammatically correct...more so than if I were just sending you an email. I'm sure I'll get over that though. I tend to write in incomplete sentences and use lots of ellipsis...like that...and multiple times within one incomplete sentence.

Am packed and ready to leave tomorrow- Thursday 6/1/2011 (trying to practice writing the date the way they do in Spain.) But like I've told most people, I'm kinda freaking out. Certain things will hit me at different times like "holy cow I am going away for 3.5 months!" or "I know NO ONE where I am going!" or "Oh my gosh I'm going somewhere where they don't speak English!" Even though I majored in Spanish, my speaking ability is pretty rusty and has been limited to the elementary teachings of numbers, colors, etc. for the past 3 years.
But I just push those worries aside and think about the next thing I have to do, rather than the overall picture. So hopefully, my next post will be from my dwelling in Valencia. Wish me luck.
